Historically for more than 30 years, Belle Reve New Orleans has operated as an Adult Residential Care Facility, the first licensed of its kind in the state of Louisiana, serving individuals with disabilities, including HIV/AIDS. Today, we are responding to a new community crisis, with a new mission, “to provide affordable housing to seniors that is consistent with the principles of diversity, respect, and dignity.”

We are proud of local, regional, and businesses nation-wide which find the vision of the Belle Reve Center to align with internal philanthropic interests and welcome the possibility to explore partnership opportunities. Our role in this ambitious project is to serve as the foundation for a healthy, welcoming, and engaged community of New Orleans seniors. The Center will include amenity spaces – a total of 4,000 square feet – created for health and wellness programs, recreation, education, support therapy, and socialization. Residents will also enjoy beautifully landscaped outdoor spaces for recreation and contemplation. Our staff will program these spaces, which will also be made available for use by the community.
